All of the money donated to Kaninde will support their continued work to defend the Amazon against deforestation. The nonprofit, led by Neidinha Bandeira and Txai Suruí, has been supporting Indigenous communities for decades in their fight for sovereignty and the battle against the climate crisis, as well as leading scientific studies for conservation.
